If you’re wondering how I became a life coach helping other professionals build confidence and overcome fears, fill your favorite teacup and prepare to get the scoop.

I haven’t always been able to walk with confidence or been brave enough to share my story. Like many other aspiring millennials, finding my niche has been a challenge.  Embracing my past shortcomings was no slice of pie either.

Even though I needed support along this journey, I found myself stuck in the doldrums.  I knew I had skills, talents, and abilities bursting at the seams to be used, but I lacked a couple of essentials needed to get me going—confidence, grit, and gumption.

I was bound by fear, which spoke failure, doubt, and unbelief to me.

Fear had reshaped my focus.  I no longer had an, “I can do this!” attitude.

My thoughts became damaging questions that formed into negative beliefs.  I was so fearful of failing and what others would say about me that I never made any progress in the direction of what I was passionate about.

I often suppressed my feelings and shifted the focus from my issues to giving advice to close family, friends, and coworkers who were struggling with life—decisions, grief, career choices.

I was told time and time again that I had a gift of helping people overcome life challenges and everyday issues.

I realized before I could truly cast my net wider to help others, I needed to put in place that adage:  To thine own self be true.

I needed to conquer my fears, build my confidence, and go after my passions.  So, I went to work on myself.  I created a personal plan that I worked through over the course of several months.

I talked to people, sought council, and enrolled in courses because I was determined to not allow fear to control my destiny.  I had a mission to accomplish, and I was going to do it.

“Being fearless, confident, brave, and operating from a space of grit and gumption is my goal, and I am succeeding. You can, too!”

My heart has always been with serving others.  I love coaching people who lack confidence, and just witnessing them evolve from a place of uncertainty to a full-blown giant in life! This is where I get the greatest joy.

Confidence building is a journey that takes you on paths, which unveils who you are.  It allows you to see yourself in another light—as one who is a powerful conqueror.

I’m ready to take the journey to fearlessness and confidence with you.
